Special thanks were extended to Vivian Xu and the Headquarters Magazine team for co-organising the event.
“I am delighted that Poland was the first destination to inaugurate this series of events, delivering excellent presentations and actively engaging in valuable networking opportunities. Brussels provides the ideal backdrop — the epicentre of European business and policy. It is a city where encounters with international associations truly matter, and where destinations can showcase their full potential on a global stage,” said Vivian Xu, Managing Director of Meeting Media Company, publisher of Headquarters (HQ) Magazine.
With its rising visibility and consistent international rankings — 19th globally by ICCA and 23rd by the Union of International Associations (UIA) — Poland continues to solidify its position as a leading destination for association meetings. This momentum is further supported by strategic initiatives such as the Polish Congress Ambassadors Programme, which fosters collaboration between academia, industry and government to attract high-profile international events.
“When it comes to Poland, I see exceptional promise for the MICE sector — a country defined by its vibrant culture, modern infrastructure, and outstanding value for money. Having lived in Poland for four years, I have developed a deep appreciation for its authenticity, energy, and above all, its people: dedicated, passionate, and committed to excellence. Their professionalism and warmth make Poland not only an attractive meetings destination but one that deserves even greater recognition within the global events community,” added Xu.
From Warsaw’s modern venues and Kraków’s ICE Congress Centre to AmberExpo Gdańsk, Poznań Event Hub, and Wrocław’s UNESCO-listed Centennial Hall, Poland’s meeting infrastructure reflects both innovation and tradition. Combined with expert local partners and a proven international track record, it offers a compelling proposition for global planners seeking new destinations that balance accessibility, quality and authenticity.
“I am delighted that Poland had the honour of being the first destination to open this new series of HQ Association Meetpoint – combining insightful presentations with productive networking opportunities. Together with Dominika Szulc from the Polish Tourism Organisation Office in Brussels, we presented Poland’s key strengths: its strategic geographic location, the professionalism of its service providers, the availability of top-tier venues and an increasing commitment to sustainability within its meetings and events sector. As we celebrate the 1000th anniversary of the first royal coronation in 2025, we proudly emphasise that the art of hosting meaningful gatherings is woven into Poland’s heritage – from historic royal ceremonies to today’s world-class business events and international association congresses.” Jarosław Marciuk, Chief Marketing Specialist, Poland Convention Bureau.
Events such as HQ Association Meetpoint – Poland underscore the importance of connecting destinations directly with international associations — creating platforms for dialogue, sharing best practices and strengthening Poland’s role as a serious contender on the European and global MICE stage.
