The National Support Programme for the Meetings Industry is a joint initiative of the Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau (PCB), LOT Polish Airlines (PLL LOT), and the Polish Conference and Congress Association (SKKP). It is addressed to the most active Congress Ambassadors, as well as representatives of cities, regions and the meetings industry. Funds for the 2026 edition are still available.
The airline tickets applied for will make it possible to reach decision-makers with Poland’s congress offer, i.e. owners of international events.
Events eligible for the National Support Programme for the Meetings Industry in 2026:
- Events in the bidding stage – when Poland is one of the candidate destinations being considered for hosting the event (presentation of Poland’s offer abroad).
- Site inspections – visits to the potential host city organised for the foreign organiser to confirm the submitted offer.
Entities entitled to apply to the National Support Programme for the Meetings Industry:
- Polish Congress Ambassadors
- The Chapter of the Polish Congress Ambassadors Programme
- Polish Tourism Organisation
- Polish Conference and Congress Association (SKKP)
- Representatives of Local Congress Ambassadors Clubs
- Municipal and regional Convention Bureaux
- Congress organisers recommended under the Poland Convention Bureau PTO programme
- Other business event organisers supported in the application by a city or regional Convention Bureau (in this case, the application requires a recommendation from the local Convention Bureau)
- Congress venues supported in the application by a municipal or regional Convention Bureau (in this case, the application from the venue requires a recommendation from the local Convention Bureau)

Events submitted to the Programme must meet the following criteria:
- International events with a minimum of 100 foreign participants
- Recurring events with a history of at least 2 editions
- Events in the following formats: conferences, congresses, trade fairs, workshops, meetings with incentive travel elements and other business events
- The planned date of the event cannot be later than 4 years from the date of submission of the application to the National Support Programme for the Meetings Industry
- The application date cannot be later than 6 months before the event
The applicant’s request for an airline ticket may only concern LOT Polish Airlines’ own flights and must be submitted at least 1 month before the planned travel start date.
Participation in the National Support Programme for the Meetings Industry obliges the applicant (organiser) to actively promote Poland abroad as a destination for congresses and conferences.
In the event of a positive decision to host the event in Poland, the organiser declares that PLL LOT will be the recommended carrier.
