Connecting academia, business and the meetings industry

The Lublin Polish Congress Ambassadors Club is designed to bring together representatives of academia, business and the meetings industry. Its activities will focus on attracting congresses and conferences to Lublin and the Lubelskie Voivodeship, while supporting individuals whose professional and academic activities, as well as international networks, can help initiate events in the region.

The Lubelskie region has a strong academic base, well-developed conference infrastructure and a community of experts involved in national and international projects. The Club is intended to facilitate cooperation between these communities and create the conditions for jointly preparing bids to host congresses.

The eighth Polish Congress Ambassadors Club

The Lublin Club joins a network of seven initiatives already operating in other Polish cities and regions. Polish Congress Ambassadors Clubs currently operate in:

  • Poznań,
  • Łódź,
  • Kraków,
  • Wrocław,
  • Warsaw and the Mazowieckie region,
  • the Śląskie Voivodeship as the Silesia Ambassador Club,
  • the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship as the Świętokrzyski Congress Ambassador Club.

The establishment of the Club in Lublin expands the network to another of Poland’s major academic and conference regions.

Agreement signed ahead of the Polish Congress Ambassadors Gala

The establishment of the Club was closely linked to this year’s edition of the Polish Congress Ambassadors Gala. The agreement was signed immediately before the event, which was held in Lublin for the first time on 17 September 2026. The Gala was hosted by the Lublin Conference Centre. This year’s edition also provided an opportunity to honour the latest Polish Congress Ambassadors, as well as the first group of recipients recognised under the pilot Young Polish Congress Ambassador programme.
