We hosted the first Eventprofs Creators Lab (Laboratorium Twórców) meeting of 2025 for Erasmus students. At the Polish Tourism Organisation (PTO) headquarters on Młynarska Street 42 in Warsaw, we welcomed distinguished guests: Dr Anna Ostrowska-Tryzno from the Department of Tourism and Recreation at AWF Warsaw, along with 15 talented students from Spain, Portugal, and Turkey. These young enthusiasts are part of the ERASMUS programme, enabling them to explore international tourism standards and innovative industry approaches.

The event was led by Aneta Książek and Jarosław Marciuk as part of the Eventprofs Creators Lab project—a platform where knowledge and experience meet passion and future innovation.

Exploring the Meetings Industry & Career Pathways

The first session of the event focused on the meetings industry, allowing participants to discover the role of the Poland Convention Bureau in shaping Poland’s image as a premier destination for international business events. A discussion on career opportunities in the sector inspired students to consider bold professional aspirations.

The second half of the meeting provided valuable insights into modern marketing strategies. Topics such as the impact of social media, B2B influencer marketing, and artificial intelligence in destination marketing showcased the potential of cutting-edge tools. The NotebookLM`s phrase “Think Smarter, Not Harder” took on a new meaning as students explored AI-driven solutions already transforming the industry.

We sincerely thank the Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau (PCB), represented by Aneta Książek and Jarosław Marciuk, for inviting us to the Creators’ Lab meeting. Together with Dr Agnieszka Muszyńska from the Department of Tourism and Recreation at AWF Warsaw, we strive to maintain strong connections with the tourism industry, ensuring that both Polish and international students (ERASMUS participants) gain first-hand insights into the sector’s professional landscape. The educational project is a unique opportunity for meeting industry professionals, academics, and students to engage with experts, explore career paths, and stay up to date with emerging trends in content marketing, sensory marketing, and social media strategies. Marianna from Portugal highlighted how this event introduced her to new business opportunities she had never considered. As she embarks on her professional journey, she now sees the meetings industry as an exciting and dynamic field filled with innovative solutions. The meeting also provided an excellent opportunity to highlight Poland’s distinctive venues and attractions. All attendees agreed that “Poland. More than you expected.” perfectly captures the country’s appeal. We now have new ambassadors for Poland, who will return to their home countries with fond memories of their studies at AWF Warsaw and encourage others to visit Poland.” said Dr Anna Ostrowska-Tryzno, AWF Warsaw.

Undoubtedly, this is just the beginning of an exciting journey for our guests. We wish them perseverance, creativity, and success in pursuing their professional passions!
