From 14–16 February 2027, Kraków will host MCE Central & Eastern Europe 2027, a B2B forum organised by Europe Congress. Kraków Convention Bureau is inviting hotels, conference centres, PCOs, DMCs and other meetings industry professionals to take part. The organiser expects more than 70 hosted buyers and offers participants the opportunity to hold up to 28 pre-scheduled B2B meetings.
MCE Central & Eastern Europe 2027 will provide another opportunity to showcase Poland’s meetings offer directly to international event planners interested in Central and Eastern Europe. The event will take place at the Fabryczna City complex, with Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City serving as the host hotel.
Polish MICE industry invited to take part
Hosting an event of this kind in Poland creates an opportunity for hotels, conference centres, professional congress organisers, DMCs and other companies operating in the meetings sector.

The MCE Central & Eastern Europe format differs from a traditional trade show. It is built around pre-matched, one-to-one meetings between suppliers and hosted buyers, complemented by networking, workshops, destination presentations and a programme designed to introduce participants to the host city.
Event partners can hold up to 28 pre-scheduled B2B meetings with selected buyers. The package also includes visibility in event materials and participation in networking activities.
More than 70 hosted buyers. Who will come to Kraków?
According to current information from Europe Congress, MCE Central & Eastern Europe 2027 is expected to welcome more than 70 hosted buyers. The organiser applies a qualification process for buyer-side participants: candidates are assessed by the recruitment team, interviewed and required to demonstrate active involvement in organising events as well as an interest in placing projects in the CEE region.
The buyer profile is predominantly commercial:
- 65% are expected to represent agencies
- 25% corporations
- 10% associations.
The largest group of participants is expected to come from France, the Benelux countries and Scandinavia, accounting for 25%. Buyers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will represent 20%, as will those from the United Kingdom and Ireland. Southern Europe will account for a further 15%, while the Middle East and Asia and North America will each represent 10%.

For Polish suppliers, this provides an opportunity to meet planners representing several key source markets without having to participate in a large-scale trade show attended by thousands of delegates.
Kraków as part of the participant experience
MCE Central & Eastern Europe 2027 will take place from 14–16 February 2027. Europe Congress has identified Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City, part of the Fabryczna City complex, as the event’s main location.
Alongside business meetings, the programme includes city activities, networking, evening events and elements showcasing the destination. For Kraków, this provides an opportunity to introduce international planners to the city through direct experience of its conference infrastructure, hotels, gastronomy and leisure offer.
This is particularly relevant in the hosted buyer format, where the host city is not simply the venue for the forum but forms part of the destination proposition assessed by potential clients.
Poland Convention Bureau is familiar with the Europe Congress format
Poland Convention Bureau POT has previously participated in MCE Central & Eastern Europe. At the 2024 edition in Salzburg, Poland was jointly represented by Poland Convention Bureau, Mazovia Convention Bureau, Silesia Convention Bureau and the International Congress Centre in Katowice.

The forum brought together more than 200 planners and suppliers. Poland Convention Bureau held 35 pre-scheduled meetings with hosted buyers, presenting Poland’s offer for conferences, congresses and incentive travel.
The Kraków edition brings this format directly to Poland. International event planners will therefore be able not only to meet suppliers at B2B tables, but also to experience one of Poland’s leading congress destinations as part of the event itself.
