From 22 to 24 June 2026, Wrocław became a space for conversations about mental health, relationships, education, technology, disinformation, culture and the challenges facing contemporary society. The first edition of the Re_Mind Psychology Congress and Festival brought together 4,300 participants and more than 200 speakers from Poland and abroad.
The event, initiated and organised by SWPS University, and co-organised by the City of Wrocław and Telewizja Polska, took place at Hala Stulecia and the Wrocław Congress Centre. Both venues once again confirmed their role as key spaces for major congress events in Wrocław.
Psychology at the Centre of Public Debate
Re_Mind was designed as an event combining scientific knowledge, practice, culture and social education. Its aim was to take psychology beyond the walls of academia and demonstrate that reliable knowledge about human behaviour can serve as a real tool for understanding social change, building relationships, strengthening mental resilience and supporting wellbeing.
The congress programme featured 14 thematic tracks, including topics related to people in the city, relationships, technologies and psychology in service of the planet. The congress component was complemented by an open festival programme, including exhibitions, walks, workshops, debates, meetings with creators and artistic activities held across the city.
The event welcomed renowned experts, academics, practitioners, artists and representatives of public life. One of the key highlights of the programme was a keynote by Professor Robert B. Cialdini, a world authority in the field of social influence. Olga Tokarczuk, Nobel Prize laureate in Literature, also appeared as a special guest of the event.

Congress, Festival and Accompanying Events
The first day of Re_Mind concluded with the concert “Re_Mind. Chcę to powiedzieć”, held at Hala Stulecia. Performers included Mela Koteluk, Natalia Przybysz, Natalia Szroeder, Piotr Rogucki and Zakopower. The concert formed part of the broader concept of the event, where psychology met culture, art and social communication.
An important element of the programme was also the range of activities addressed to different audience groups. An integral part of the event was Miasteczko Młodych, aimed at young people, and Miasteczko Młodych Plus, prepared with mature participants in mind.
In this way, Re_Mind went beyond the traditional conference format, creating a space for participation both for professionals and for the city’s residents.

Wrocław as a Space for Events of Social Importance
From the perspective of the meetings industry, Re_Mind was an example of a congress that combined large-scale organisation with genuine social impact. The event demonstrated that topics related to mental health, wellbeing, relationships and social resilience can engage wide audiences, fill congress halls and build a programme that extends beyond the traditional format of lectures and panel discussions.

The Role of Convention Bureau – Wrocław
Convention Bureau – Wrocław co-created the event on behalf of the City of Wrocław, supporting both its congress dimension and its urban character. The first edition of Re_Mind confirmed that Wrocław offers not only the appropriate infrastructure, but also a network of academic, institutional and cultural partnerships that make it possible to organise events of high standing and broad reach.
The Re_Mind Psychology Congress and Festival became an important signal for the MICE industry: events built around socially relevant themes can simultaneously serve as platforms for knowledge exchange, tools for public education and impulses strengthening a city’s position as a congress destination.
Convention Bureau – Wrocław has received the “Recommended Convention Bureau” certificate for 2025–2026, awarded by the Polish Tourism Organisation. More information about the programme is available here.
Venues and Spaces in Wrocław Used During Re_Mind
The Re_Mind Psychology Congress and Festival 2026 made use of the potential of many diverse spaces across Wrocław, combining the format of a major congress with open events, workshops, artistic activities and urban experiences.
The main venues for the event were Hala Stulecia and the Wrocław Congress Centre, which provided the facilities for the congress programme, plenary sessions and meetings attended by broad audiences. Czasoprzestrzeń, the former Zajezdnia Dąbie tram depot, also played an important role as a venue for cultural, educational and social events.

The festival programme extended beyond traditional conference rooms, also engaging the spaces around the Hala Stulecia complex, including the Pergola, Plac pod Iglicą and Park Szczytnicki, as well as the Church of St John of Nepomuk in Park Szczytnicki, operating as Otwarta Przestrzeń Kultury.
The locations also included Concordia Design Wrocław, Żyjnia and Barbara – Wrocławski Instytut Kultury, underlining the urban, open and interdisciplinary character of the event.
Academic spaces had a separate significance: Kliniki – the campus of Wrocław Medical University, where Miasteczko Młodych Plus was delivered, and the campus of the University School of Physical Education in Wrocław, named after the Polish Olympians, which hosted Miasteczko Młodych.
Such a broad selection of locations showed that Re_Mind was not only a congress held in a single venue, but an event mapped across the entire city, drawing on its congress, academic, cultural and recreational infrastructure.
