From 7 to 11 April, Poland hosted the Editor-in-Chief of the French business travel magazine Meet and Travel Mag. The purpose of the visit was to present Warsaw and Kraków as attractive destinations for hosting business events. The press trip was organised in collaboration with the Warsaw Tourism Organisation, the Kraków Convention Bureau, and the Polish Tourism Organisation’s Foreign Office in Paris, with overall coordination by the Poland Convention Bureau.
Warsaw
From 7 to 9 April, Michel Foraud stayed at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Warsaw, which served as the base for a comprehensive and intensive visit programme.
The itinerary included a tour of the Old Town, site inspections of key hotel properties (Hotel Bristol, Raffles Europejski Warsaw, and Hotel Verte by Autograph Collection), as well as presentations of the Nobu Hotel Warsaw and the Highline Warsaw – Magnicity space. The day concluded with a tasting dinner at Elixir by Dom Wódki.
The second day began with visits to the Royal Castle and the Kubicki Arcades, followed by the Copernicus Science Centre.
In the afternoon, the guest explored the right-bank district of the city, including the Praga Koneser Centre and Bohema 2.8. Lunch took place at Kieliszki na Próżnej, in the company of Dorota Goetzen (PolandPops – Meetings and Incentives). The rest of the day featured further inspections, including Crowne Plaza Warsaw – The HUB, the Norblin Factory Museum, The Westin Warsaw, and Royal Tulip Warsaw Apartments.
The evening ended with a candlelight concert at the Fryderyk Concert Hall and dinner at the U Wieniawy restaurant.
Kraków
From 9 to 11 April, Michel Foraud continued his journey in Kraków, staying at the Golden Tulip Kazimierz Hotel. The visit began with a meeting with Julien Hallier – Destination Pologne, followed by a dinner at Starka restaurant, located on Józefa Street 14.
The next day started with a guided meeting with Magda Żur in the hotel lobby, followed by a transfer for a site inspection of the ICE Kraków Congress Centre.
The programme continued with visits to hotel venues including Q Hotel Kraków, Park Inn by Radisson, Mercure Hotel, and CKF_13, as well as the Tauron Arena Kraków. After a busy morning, lunch was held at the Klimaty Południa restaurant.
In the afternoon, the guest was given a three-hour guided tour of Kraków’s historic city centre, featuring the Czartoryski Museum, the Krzysztofory Palace, and the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice). The evening allowed time for leisure, followed by a dinner at the elegant Szara Gęś restaurant.
