Nominations are now open for the 2026 Polish Congress Ambassadors Programme, which recognises representatives of academia, science, medicine, business, culture and other sectors whose international activity helps attract congresses and conferences to Poland.
Run since 1998 by the Polish Tourism Organisation and the Polish Conference and Congress Association (SKKP), the Programme supports Poland’s efforts to secure international meetings and strengthen cooperation between experts and the meetings industry.
The 2026 nomination form places greater emphasis on specific events secured or organised by candidates, their personal involvement, international activity and the impact of those events on science, the economy and host destinations.
Candidates may nominate themselves or be proposed by universities, scientific and professional organisations, convention bureaux, PCOs and other partner organisations.
Applications are open until 15 November 2026 via the dedicated nomination form.
To date, 366 people have received the title of Polish Congress Ambassador. The Programme is also supported by eight local Congress Ambassador Clubs operating across Poland.
