From 3 to 5 June 2025, Warsaw will become the hub of international science communication as it hosts the renowned Ecsite Conference – the flagship annual event of the European Network of Science Centres and Museums. Held at the iconic Copernicus Science Centre, the conference will welcome around 1,000 delegates from over 50 countries, including educators, exhibition designers, science engagement professionals, and innovation leaders.
Ecsite Conference in Warsaw
The Ecsite network, comprising more than 400 member institutions across Europe, fosters collaboration, shares best practices, and promotes innovation in science communication. Each year, the conference is held in a different European city, bringing together professionals to exchange knowledge, showcase new ideas and build lasting partnerships.
With over 90 thematic sessions, 6 hands-on workshops, 2 plenary lectures, networking events, and a bustling trade fair, Ecsite 2025 in Warsaw promises a rich and dynamic programme entirely delivered in English. Hosting this prestigious event further highlights Poland’s growing reputation as an innovative, welcoming, and well-equipped destination for international congresses and business events.
Relaxation Zone by the Polish Tourism Organisation
This year, the Polish Tourism Organisation (PTO), through its dedicated Poland Convention Bureau, is proud to serve as an official partner of the event. As part of this collaboration, POT will host a Relaxation Zone within the exhibition area – a dedicated space designed to offer conference participants a place to recharge while discovering Poland’s tourism offer and event potential.
The Relaxation Zone will feature:
- Comfortable networking and breakout spaces – An inviting atmosphere for informal meetings and quiet moments between sessions.
- PEPPER the robot – A semi-humanoid robot offering an interactive glimpse into Poland’s spirit of innovation.
- Travel materials and inspiration – Free brochures and digital guides to help attendees explore Warsaw and plan their next Polish adventure.
