National Meeting of Polish Convention Bureaux at the Headquarters of the Polish Tourism Organisation

On 4 September 2025, the headquarters of the Polish Tourism Organisation (POT) in Warsaw hosted a strategic gathering of the national, regional, and city convention bureaux. The meeting brought together representatives of the Poland Convention Bureau POT and partners from across the country to exchange insights, align priorities, and strengthen joint efforts to position Poland as a competitive and forward-looking MICE destination.

 

 

Key highlights included updates on flagship projects and initiatives supporting the growth of the meetings industry in Poland:

 

  • Industry Support Programmes – presentation of the Promotional Support Programme for Meetings and Events, as well as the reactivated National Support Programme for the Meetings Industry, implemented in partnership with LOT Polish Airlines. Delegates reviewed results to date, including successfully securing international conferences and congresses.
  • Global Trade Show Presence – continued participation at IMEX Frankfurt, IMEX America, and IBTM World Barcelona to showcase Poland’s diverse MICE offer on the international stage.
  • Laboratorium Twórców & Digital Projects – educational and networking initiatives designed to foster innovation and knowledge exchange among industry professionals.
  • Destination Poland Green Academy 2025–2026 – announcement of a nationwide series of strategic workshops dedicated to sustainable incentive programmes and responsible travel, hosted in Poland’s second- and third-tier cities. Outcomes will include a best-practice e-book and a Green Talks interview series.
  • Outlook for 2026 – unveiling of the upcoming calendar featuring major initiatives such as Connect Aviation in Lublin, the Polish Congress Ambassadors Gala, the Impact Congress in Poznań, and the fifth edition of Spotlight on Poland.

 

The Warsaw meeting underscored the importance of close collaboration within Poland’s convention bureau network and reaffirmed the role of Poland Convention Bureau POT as a coordinator driving the country’s meetings industry forward and enhancing its international visibility.
