Wiktoria Król-Cieciorowska has been appointed as the new President of Convention Bureau – Wrocław, taking over from Agnieszka Szymerowska, who led the bureau since 2019. The leadership transition was formalized during a recent meeting of the Council of the Foundation for the Promotion of Tourism, where Szymerowska officially passed on her responsibilities to Król-Cieciorowska.
Wiktoria Król-Cieciorowska has been appointed President of the Convention Bureau – Wrocław. A graduate of the Wrocław School of Banking (Tourism and Recreation) and the University of Wrocław (Communication Management), she has been part of the Convention Bureau – Wrocław team since 2019. Over the years, she has held a variety of roles, including Promotion and Database Specialist and MICE Specialist.
Król-Cieciorowska has played a key role in advancing business tourism in Wrocław, contributing to the planning and execution of high-profile events such as the 43rd European Congress of Cytology and the ICON-S Annual Conference 2022. In addition to her work at the bureau, she has also worked as a licensed city guide in Wrocław.
As Wiktoria steps into her new leadership role, Convention Bureau – Wrocław bids farewell to outgoing President Agnieszka Szymerowska. A valued member of the Foundation for the Promotion of Tourism since 2010, Szymerowska began her journey as a volunteer, later becoming a specialist, project coordinator, and in 2019, President of the Foundation. Throughout her tenure, she has been a driving force behind promoting Wrocław as a destination, both in Poland and abroad. She played a central role in organizing and supporting numerous major events, including the Wrocław Global Forum (2010–2016), UEFA EURO 2012, European Capital of Culture 2016, The World Games 2017, Freedom Festival 2018, and many prestigious international conferences and congresses.
Effective February 1, 2023, Agnieszka Szymerowska began a new chapter as Director of the office of the Conferences and Congresses in Poland Association (SKKP).
