The Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau has become a partner of the Future Professionals mentoring programme delivered by the MPI Poland Chapter. The programme was officially launched on 8 December 2025 at Focus Hotel Premium, bringing together representatives of the meetings industry and young professionals planning to develop their careers in the MICE industry.
The MPI Future Professionals mentoring programme is an international education and development initiative aimed at students and those at the beginning of their professional journey in the meetings and events industry. Its purpose is to transfer practical knowledge, build managerial competencies, and create lasting relationships between experienced industry leaders and the next generation of professionals.

The involvement of the Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau forms part of a long-term strategy to support the development of human capital in the MICE industry and to strengthen Poland’s position as a modern, competitive destination for business events.
Within the mentoring programme, the Polish Tourism Organisation is represented by Jarosław Marciuk from the Poland Convention Bureau, who is actively engaged in educational and promotional activities for the meetings industry. As a mentor, he will share expertise in place marketing, online marketing communications, and collaboration with MICE stakeholders, supporting participants in planning their career paths and developing practical skills.
“Future Professionals mentoring programme by MPI Poland Chapter is where ambition meets practice. As mentors, we’re not here to hand out ready-made answers, but to help young talent build confidence, sharpen skills, and understand how the MICE ecosystem really works, from stakeholder cooperation to destination storytelling. If we want Poland to stay competitive as a business events destination, we need to invest in people, their ideas, and their first bold steps into the industry,” said Jarosław Marciuk, representing Poland Convention Bureau at Polish Tourism Organisation

“The first meeting within the Future Professionals mentoring programme was a huge dose of inspiration and positive energy for me. I had the pleasure of meeting my mentor, Jarosław Marciuk, whose experience and commitment made a strong impression on me. I applied because I’m a creative person, and this industry has long felt like a place where I can truly spread my wings. In the future, I would like to move into a more senior role, specifically within a creative department, so the opportunity to learn from specialists of this calibre is something truly special for me,” said Justyna Nerło, a student of Event Management at WSB Merito University.

Additional information about MPI Future Professionals
The programme brings together fourteen mentors, experienced experts in event delivery, marketing, tourism, and hospitality. These are practitioners who shape the market every day, deliver events, and manage complex projects, sharing knowledge that goes beyond academic textbooks.
The mentors represent seven Polish cities: Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań, Katowice, Gliwice, Łódź, and Toruń, giving the initiative a truly nationwide reach and making it accessible to students across the country.
A total of 14 students from various universities were selected for the programme, chosen from 35 applications submitted from across Poland.
The mentoring programme is based on a one-to-one model of cooperation between fourteen mentors and fourteen mentees. Its core component is individual meetings, each tailored to the needs, goals, and aspirations of the participants. The three-month cycle, running from December to February, is an intensive period focused on skills development, career planning, and building market awareness.

The format of the meetings is flexible and agreed directly between the mentor and mentee, both in person and online, further strengthening the programme’s personalised character and practical value.
The partnership with the MPI Poland Chapter is another example of the consistent efforts of the Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourism Organisation to integrate the industry community, collaborate with international organisations, and build professional capacity for Poland’s meetings and events sector.

During the launch event, a special session of the Laboratorium Twórców also took place, run by Jaroslaw Marciuk, as part of the educational project of Poland Convention Bureau.
