On 2 October 2025, Headquarters Magazine (HQ) will team up with the Poland Convention Bureau (PCB) to host a dedicated HQ Association Meetpoint – Poland in Brussels. This exclusive event will bring together ten association executives to explore why Poland positions itself as one of the leading destinations in Central Europe for international meetings and congresses.
A Platform For Knowledge Exchange
HQ Association Meetpoint is a concept developed by HQ to connect association leaders with key destinations and industry partners in a focused yet informal setting. Designed around knowledge-sharing and networking, the format combines destination insights with interactive discussion. True to HQ’s mission of ‘building bridges in the meetings industry,’ each edition offers associations the opportunity to engage directly with national convention bureaux and explore new possibilities for collaboration.
On 2 October 2025, it will be Poland’s turn to take centre stage in Brussels.
Poland. More Than You Expected
Representatives of the PCB will highlight the country’s combination of modern infrastructure, cost-effectiveness, and cultural appeal, assets that are increasingly attracting the attention of international planners. They will be on hand to engage with participants, answer questions, and share insights about the country’s strengths as a meeting destination. A dedicated destination presentation will provide association executives with a clear picture.
Poland’s location in the heart of Europe makes it highly accessible, with convenient air and rail links to major European capitals. The country offers a strong network of venues, from ICE Congress Centre Kraków, an extensive range of hotels and exceptional venues in Warsaw, AmberExpo Gdańsk, Poznań Event Hub, and Wrocław’s historic Centennial Hall. Supported by a wide choice of hotels and professional suppliers, these facilities provide flexibility for events of all sizes.
Value for money remains one of Poland’s comparative advantages, offering international-standard facilities at competitive rates. At the same time, sustainability has become a defining focus: several cities are part of the Global Destination Sustainability Index. Its certification programmes for professional congress organisers and incentive travel companies provide further assurance of quality and professionalism.
A Growing Role In The Association Market
Poland’s aspirations are mirrored in global rankings, where Warsaw and Kraków regularly feature among the leading destinations for international meetings according to ICCA and UIA.
As a country, Poland secures a solid position on the world stage – 19th in ICCA and 23rd in UIA. Initiatives such as the Polish Congress Ambassadors Programme strengthen ties between academia, business and associations, further consolidating Poland’s reputation as a partner for international events.
