Poland is heading to Las Vegas. From 13–15 October 2026, Poland Convention Bureau – Polish Tourism Organisation will present Poland’s meetings and events offer at IMEX America 2026, together with partners representing Warsaw and Kraków.

IMEX America brings the global meetings, events and incentive travel industry together in Las Vegas. The 2026 edition opens with Smart Monday powered by MPI on 12 October, followed by three trade-show days from 13 to 15 October. IMEX currently promotes access to more than 6,000 buyers, around 3,700 exhibitors from 80+ countries and more than 300 education sessions.

For association executives, corporate planners, incentive specialists, PCOs and agencies considering Central Europe for a future event, E1726 will be the place to start a conversation about Poland.

Who will you meet at the Polish Booth E1726?

The official IMEX America exhibitor profile lists Poland Convention Bureau – Polish Tourism Organisation as the coordinating company at Bayside / E1726, accompanied by three Polish partners.

Poland Convention Bureau – Polish Tourism Organisation

Established in 2002, Poland Convention Bureau is responsible for promoting Poland internationally as a destination for meetings and business events.

It acts as a first point of contact for planners looking for information about Polish destinations, conference facilities and professional partners and works with city and regional convention bureaux, Professional Congress Organisers, incentive travel companies and Poland’s scientific community.

Kraków Convention Bureau

Kraków Convention Bureau supports international organisers considering Kraków for association congresses, conferences, corporate meetings and other business events.

At IMEX America, buyers can discuss Kraków’s event infrastructure, destination support and possibilities for developing bids and site inspections directly with the destination team.

ICE Kraków Congress Centre

ICE Kraków Congress Centre is one of Poland’s principal congress venues. Its main Auditorium accommodates 1,915 delegates, complemented by the 600-seat Theatre Hall, 400-seat Chamber Hall and conference room complex for up to 350 participants. Its foyer infrastructure can accommodate up to 3,200 visitors across different event formats.

Warsaw Convention Bureau

Warsaw Convention Bureau provides international meeting planners with impartial destination advice and supports organisers considering Poland’s capital for congresses and business events.

Its activities include assistance with destination and venue selection as well as support for site inspections and other stages of the event acquisition process.

Why meet Poland at IMEX America?

A meeting at E1726 can go considerably further than collecting information about individual venues.

1. 215 international association meetings recorded by ICCA

According to the ICCA Country & City Rankings 2025, Poland recorded 215 international association meetings meeting ICCA criteria, 24 more than in the previous year.

Poland was placed 18th globally and 11th in Europe in the ranking presented by Poland Convention Bureau. Warsaw recorded 75 qualifying meetings, Kraków 44 and Gdańsk 28, while Poznań and Wrocław each recorded 19.

2. A national network of verified meetings-industry partners

The current Poland Convention Bureau recommendation programme for 2025–2026 includes:

  • 9 municipal and regional convention bureaux
  • 21 business entities
  • recommended Professional Congress Organisers
  • recommended Incentive Travel Companies

The recommendation process is intended to help international planners identify experienced partners operating in the Polish market.

3. Support from destination selection to bidding

Poland Convention Bureau provides meeting planners and partners with practical tools that can support different stages of attracting an event to Poland.

Available forms of cooperation include:

  • official recommendation letters,
  • destination presentations,
  • high-resolution photography and video,
  • branding assets,
  • information for press releases and event websites,
  • promotional content,
  • testimonials and case studies.

Poland also operates dedicated mechanisms supporting the acquisition and promotion of international meetings. Availability differs between individual programmes and should be checked at the time of application.

4. Aviation support designed for the meetings industry

LOT Polish Airlines operates dedicated solutions for organisers of international congresses, conferences, incentive programmes and other business events.

Its LOT International Events programme is designed specifically for organised events. Poland Convention Bureau reports that LOT’s wider network covers more than 100 destinations across four continents, supported by long-haul Boeing 787 Dreamliner operations.

For organisers working on international bids, aviation support can also play a role before the event is awarded. The National Support Programme for the Meetings Industry, developed by Poland Convention Bureau, LOT Polish Airlines and the Polish Conference and Congress Association, can support selected bid presentations and site inspections through airline tickets, subject to programme criteria.

5. A meetings market extending beyond Warsaw and Kraków

Poland’s international congress market is increasingly distributed across several academic and business centres. The latest ICCA data includes meetings in Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk, Poznań, Wrocław, Łódź, Katowice, with further qualifying events held in destinations including Białystok, Kielce, Rzeszów, Szczecin and Szczyrk.

This gives planners the option to compare different destination profiles rather than treating Poland as a single-city proposition.

Planning an international congress?

For an association, a conversation at IMEX America can start long before a formal RFP or bid is issued. Poland Convention Bureau and its local partners can help establish which destinations should be considered according to the size, profile and requirements of an event and connect an association with appropriate local organisations, venues, universities, PCOs and other stakeholders.

This can be particularly useful when an association is:

  • analysing possible future destinations,
  • preparing a city shortlist,
  • assessing venue capacity,
  • looking for a local host or academic community,
  • identifying an experienced PCO,
  • considering a site inspection,
  • preparing an international bid.

The current list of recommended PCOs includes companies experienced in congress organisation and servicing international clients.

Corporate meetings and incentive travel in Poland

For corporate and incentive planners, the conversation can cover a different set of requirements – from hotels and meeting facilities to transportation, destination experiences and DMC services. The Poland Convention Bureau Recommendation Programme for Incentive Travel Companies identifies operators with international experience and expertise in designing and delivering incentive programmes across Poland. Explore Incentive Travel Companies in Poland

Rather than beginning with a predetermined city, planners can use the Polish stand to discuss the required group size, programme profile, season, accessibility and objectives of the trip and then identify destinations and partners worth exploring in more detail.

Poland’s international meetings pipeline

Poland’s meetings calendar also provides practical evidence of the range of international associations already using Polish destinations.

For example, monitoring conducted by Poland Convention Bureau identified at least 22 international congresses, scientific conferences and association meetings in Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań and Szczecin in September 2026 alone. Their subjects ranged from medicine and advanced materials to technology, political science and urban development.

Among them were events attracting approximately 1,000, 1,800 and 2,000 participants, illustrating the variety of formats handled by Polish destinations, universities and congress venues. International Congresses and Conferences in Poland – September 2026

From Frankfurt to Las Vegas

IMEX America is another stage in Poland Convention Bureau’s 2026 international B2B programme. At IMEX Frankfurt 2026, the Polish national stand brought together convention bureaux, DMCs, congress centres, conference hotels and LOT Polish Airlines. Poland Convention Bureau subsequently reported strong buyer interest in the Polish offer during the event.

Las Vegas now creates an opportunity to continue those discussions with North American and international buyers – and to begin conversations around events planned several years ahead. Poland Convention Bureau’s wider 2026 industry calendar can be found here: Let’s Meet in 2026
