From 6 to 8 September 2026, the “Łódź Kreuje Spotkania na Piotrkowskiej” familiarisation trip will take place, aimed at MICE industry professionals and those considering organising business events in central Łódź. The programme will showcase the city’s potential through event venues, post-industrial spaces, historic palaces and villas, local artistic initiatives, and places connected with Łódź’s multicultural heritage.
“Łódź Kreuje Spotkania na Piotrkowskiej” is an extension of a series dedicated to the city’s meetings industry. This edition will focus in particular on central Łódź and Piotrkowska Street – one of Poland’s most recognisable urban spaces, surrounded by numerous hotels, restaurants, cultural venues and locations suitable for hosting events.
Łódź as a destination for events
The programme has been designed for professionals looking for venues for conferences, corporate meetings, team-building events and special projects. Participants will have an opportunity to discover Łódź not only through its:
- infrastructure
- distinctive architecture
- industrial heritage
- contemporary cultural initiatives
The organisers plan to showcase post-industrial spaces, palaces and villas, local artistic initiatives and locations that present Łódź as a city shaped at the crossroads of different cultures. A detailed programme will be published at a later date.
Several participation options
Participants can choose the format that best suits their availability.
- The full programme will begin on the afternoon of 6 September with check-in at a hotel on Piotrkowska Street. A welcome dinner and an evening activity are planned for the same day. The familiarisation programme will continue throughout 7 September, with the package also including an overnight stay following dinner and breakfast on 8 September.
- The second option is intended for participants arriving in Łódź on 7 September. The programme will begin at 9:00 and continue until 17:00. In the evening, participants will attend the Kolacja Fabrykanta at Ogrody Geyera. This option also includes an overnight stay and breakfast on 8 September.
- Participation without an overnight stay is also possible. The familiarisation programme will run from 9:00 to 17:00 on 7 September, while the Kolacja Fabrykanta is scheduled from 19:00 to 23:00. This option does not include accommodation or transport to and from the dinner.
Those interested exclusively in attending the Kolacja Fabrykanta can register separately via the form provided by the organisers. Completing the registration form does not constitute confirmation of participation. Each applicant will receive confirmation from the organisers as to whether their registration has been accepted.
“Łódź Kreuje Spotkania na Piotrkowskiej” offers an opportunity to experience the city from an event organiser’s perspective, discovering specific venues, local partners and solutions that can be incorporated into future MICE projects.

Łódź Kreuje Spotkania (Lodz Creates Meetings)
The series is organised by Łódź Convention Bureau , which operates within the Łódź Tourism Organisation. Łódź Convention Bureau has been organising familiarisation trips of this kind since 2018.
In 2024, representatives of the Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau took part in the fifth edition of “Łódź Kreuje Spotkania”. From 28 to 30 July, during the fifth edition of the familiarisation trip, they explored, among other things, Łódź hotels, congress venues, museums, cultural spaces and the services offered by local event companies.
