The Poland Convention Bureau will take part as an exhibitor at Conventa 2026 in Ljubljana (10–12 February 2026). This is one of the key boutique B2B events dedicated to the meetings industry in the so-called New Europe region. In this year’s edition, POT/PCB will be represented by Magda Mazgaj, focusing on building business relationships, showcasing Poland’s potential, and developing cooperation with international event organisers.

About Conventa 2026
Conventa continues to develop a format built on high-quality business connections. The event brings together selected hosted buyers with leading suppliers and destinations, offering pre-scheduled meetings through a matchmaking model. The programme includes presentations and meetings with more than 100 exhibitors and around 130 carefully selected hosted buyers.
Participation in Conventa is important for promoting Poland in the MICE segment, as the event acts as a “first-contact marketplace” for New Europe destinations. It enables access to planners genuinely interested in the region, accelerates the process of generating enquiries, and strengthens awareness of Poland’s offer in the context of international events. This year’s edition has also been refreshed programme-wise, including the Conventa Experience Crawl format, designed to increase the intensity of networking and the number of valuable interactions.
For the first time, Conventa will be held at a new venue: the Grand Hotel Union Eurostars, one of Ljubljana’s flagship hotels with more than a century of hospitality experience. The event will take place across the hotel’s numerous conference rooms, supporting business connections between suppliers and buyers.
The Meetings Star Awards ceremony
An important accompanying element of the trade show will also be the gala evening and the presentation of the Meetings Star Awards. The organisers have announced that the results will be revealed during the gala on 11 February 2026, held as part of Conventa.
