AKP Polish-Congress-Ambassadors-Programme-submissions-2025

The application process for the Polish Congress Ambassadors Programme (AKP) is now open. Nominations will be accepted until 30 October 2025 via the official application form: https://akp2025.syskonf.pl/ankieta. Jointly coordinated by the Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau and the Association of Conferences and Congresses in Poland (SKKP), the initiative seeks to recognise individuals and institutions who actively contribute to securing international meetings and events for Poland.

Who are we looking for

We invite nominations for Congress Ambassadors – professionals from the scientific, academic, and business communities who play a key role in attracting international conferences and congresses to Poland. In addition, the programme welcomes submissions for the honorary title of Patron of Polish Congresses, awarded to institutions and companies that support the organisation of top-tier business events in Poland.

Purpose of the Programme

The Polish Congress Ambassadors Programme aims to:

  • Promote Poland as a competitive and appealing destination for international congresses and conferences;
  • Honour individuals and organisations that actively contribute to acquiring and supporting these events.

The initiative is implemented in close collaboration with local and regional convention bureaux across Poland, particularly through local Ambassadors’ Clubs, as well as with key stakeholders from academia, business, and the meetings industry.

It also provides an opportunity to recognise those who work closely with Professional Congress Organisers (PCOs), convention venues, and sector-specific associations.

Criteria and Eligibility

The title of Honorary Polish Congress Ambassador is awarded to individuals who:

  • Have personally and effectively secured at least one major international conference or congress for Poland within the last three years;
  • Plan to remain actively involved in acquiring future events.
  • They are not commercially affiliated with the meetings industry.
  • Do not hold public or political roles that inherently require the promotion of their city, region, or country.

The title of Patron of Polish Congresses is awarded to institutions or organisations that:

  • They are based and operate within Poland.
  • They are not organisers or service providers of the meetings referred to above.
