In the unique setting of the Tarasowa Restaurant, Aneta Książek and Jarosław Marciuk conducted a dedicated training session for the teams of Centennial Hall and Convention Bureau – Wrocław. The workshop was held as part of the Eventprofs Creators LAB program implemented by the Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourism Organisation.
We extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Magdalena Piasecka, Vice President of the Board of Centennial Hall and First Vice President of the Lower Silesian Tourism Organisation, for the invitation and the excellent organisation of the event.
Our appreciation also goes to the team led by Mr. Dawid Pańczyszyn, President of the Foundation for the Promotion of Congress Tourism – Convention Bureau Wrocław, for their participation and active involvement.
This meeting served as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, where we discussed the future direction of the meetings and events industry. Together, we explored innovative approaches to marketing within the business tourism sector and analysed the role played by the Polish Tourism Organisation and local convention bureaus in securing events for Poland.
It is worth highlighting that, according to the latest ICCA “Globe Watch Business Analytics – 2024 Country & City Rankings” report, Wrocław has become the third-ranked Polish city – after Warsaw and Kraków – in terms of the number of international association meetings hosted.
Key discussion points included the “Instagramization” of the industry, strategic collaboration with B2B influencers (KOLs / content creators), the use of AI tools in the daily work of meeting planners, and a deep dive into the effective use of digital marketing before, during, and after trade shows.
The training session held at The Centennial Hall – Wrocław Congress Center held a particularly symbolic meaning for us, as we reached the milestone of 1,000 participants in theEventprofs Creators LAB (Laboratorium Twórców) right here in Wrocław.
